I started making games as a general designer, building games from conceptualization to visual realization. While I relish the entire creative process, I'm particularly passionate about sound design. Collaboration fuels my creativity, allowing me to channel my expertise into the audio dimension of games. VR Mahjong

Yu Liuchuan's PHD final project at George Mason University is a take on the traditional Chinese social game Mahjong.
By recording and implementing a spatialized soundscape, which aim to immerse the player in a reality experience. This unique approach adds a new dimension to the game and enhances the overall experience for the player.

Freddie's Fire Safety Sim for Edinburgh Airport

In response to Edinburgh Airport's need for a more engaging and simplified Fire Safety Training, our small team created a top-down puzzle game.
Guided by music, audiovisual effects, and a voice-over, players navigate danger and learn to resolve critical situations.

Drawing inspiration from Mario Monicelli's comical train slap scene, I designed a solo and multiplayer arcade game.
Quick reflexes are essential to score points by slapping passengers' faces, but be wary of getting caught by law enforcement.
I'm proud that this game is used for the coding course of next student generations of Abertay University.
